Self Storage
We have designed over 5,000,000 sqft of self storage buildings. We have designed buildings ranging in complexity from single story to 5 stories. Some have had 20 feet tall retaining walls, two story drive throughs, and retail on the first floor.
Commercial
We have designed over 150 office buildings, retail spaces, dealerships, modular carwashes, etc. Each project has unique challenges to design around, ranging from bad soils to high wind zones.
Residential
We have designed custom homes and renovations throughout the Greater Atlanta area. We work with the designers and owners to make sure their homes meet their standards.
Hospitality, Healthcare and Public
We have designed hotels and medical office buildings throughout the southeast to expand local networks. Heckman Engineering has also been able to engineer structural components at world class golf courses and parks.
Industrial
We have worked with facilities management and general contractors to implement the structural framework needed to advance or repair critical infrastructure in an industrial and manufacturing setting. We have worked in papermills, tissue plans, stone quarries, hydroelectric dams, coal and natural gas power facilities, etc.
